Coast Guard ship docks in Port Alberni

The Canadian Coast Guard Service fisheries patrol vessel Tanu made an appearance in Port Alberni’s harbour last week.

The Canadian Coast Guard Service fisheries patrol vessel Tanu made an appearance in Port Alberni’s harbour last week.

The 52-metre Tanu was docked at Harbour Quay Marina, where members of the public could see it from the Maritime Discovery Centre pier.

The Tanu was in Port Alberni for a crew change, according to a Coast Guard spokesperson.
