ELECTION 2014: nine candidates run for Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District

Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District: only Bamfield, Beaver Creek and Cherry Creek will be contested

With the local election nomination period at an end, seven candidates have declared for regional district seats.

The candidates are:

  • Lucas Banton (incumbent, Cherry Creek)
  • Tony Bennett (incumbent, Long Beach)
  • Penny Cote (incumbent, Sproat Lake)
  • Dennis Dalla-Vicenza (Cherry Creek)
  • Patty Edwards (Beaver Creek)
  • Eric Geall (incumbent, Bamfield)
  • Michael Kokura (incumbent, Beaufort)
  • John McNabb (incumbent, Beaver Creek)
  • Keith Wyton (Bamfield)

WIth only one candidate running in Long Beach, Sproat Lake and Beaufort, the only contests will be in Cherry Creek between Lucas Banton and Dennis Dalla-Vicenza, Beaver Creek between Patty Edwards and John McNabb and Bamfield between Eric Geall and Keith Wyton.
