Coutenay-Alberni MP Gord Johns will be hosting a series of public meetings on veterans issues, starting in Port Alberni on Tuesday, July 3.
These public meetings are an opportunity for military and RCMP veterans and their families to sit down with their MP and Vice-Chair of the Standing Committee on Veterans Affairs to discuss the issues that matter to them.

The first meeting will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #293 (680 Victoria Quay) from 3-5 p.m.
Johns will also be in Bowser and Courtenay on Wednesday, and in Qualicum Beach and Parksville on Thursday.
