More than 1,000 former students attended the Old School Celebration in Port Alberni at Alberni District Secondary School on May 5.

We’ve created a slideshow for the Old School Celebration in Port Alberni at Alberni District Secondary School, which was held on May 5.

More than 1,000 alumni spanning six decades, many having come from out of town, came to see the school they graduated from for one last time. The new ADSS on Roger Street commences classes this September.

Read a full accounting of the special day, which includes the story of a group who have been friends since graduating in 1956.

School officials are still pre-selling pieces of the gym floor for $5 a piece. For more info call Brian Laviolette at 250-723-6251.
