A motor home has caught fire in EJ Dunn Elementary School's parking lot. Three Port Alberni Fire Department and one Beaver Creek Volunteer Fire Department truck responded. One police car and one ambulance are also on scene.
Port Alberni deputy Chief Wes Patterson said that the cause of the fire was yet to be determined and that it was unknown of anyone was injured.
Crews are currently ensuring that the blaze is completely out and that it did not spread to the school.
