Emergency crews load the lone occupant of a vehicle onto a gurney after a one-car accident on Pacific Rim Highway near Wattys Road.

A man has been taken to West Coast General Hospital in Port Alberni by ambulance after rolling his car into a ditch along Pacific Rim Highway west of the city, Wednesday afternoon (April 18). He was the lone occupant in the vehicle.
