Public meeting will be held for shopping mall apartments in Alberni

The proposal will affect the former Fairway Market location

Community members are invited to a public information meeting regarding a proposal to redevelop a portion of the 10th Avenue Plaza.

The meeting will take place at the former Serious Coffee location in the plaza on Thursday, Feb. 15 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Although the business is currently closed, the doors will be opened for this meeting.

Architect Raymond de Beeld, Citicor Management Group and director of development services Scott Smith will be present.

The meeting has been scheduled to provide information and obtain community comments. A formal public hearing will take place at a later date (to be determined).
