An east bound truck caught fire after it pulled over by the roadside near Little Qualicum Falls at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Saturday night. Neither the driver nor passenger were reported to be injured. Volunteer firemen doused the truck blaze and grass fire the incident caused. Traffic was tied up in both directions for 45 minutes. No cause has been determined yet.

Firemen extinguished a fire at Little Qualicum Falls after an east-bound truck pulled over to the side of the road and sparked a blaze.
