Uchucklesaht Forestry Ventures Inc. (UFVI) publishes notice that a Forest Operations Map (FOM) is publicly available for review and comment.
FOM # 1906 illustrates areas planned for post harvest salvage of logs, and shake and shingle blocks from previously harvested areas.
This FOM is available for review at:
1) The BC Government online FOM portal: http://fom.nrs.gov.bc.ca/public/projects
2) At the office of Uchucklesaht Forestry Ventures Inc. located at 5251 Argyle Street, Port Alberni, BC, V9Y 1V1 ( Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:00 pm except holidays)
The public review and comment period for this FOM will be for 30 days commencing on October 30th, 2024 and ending November 28th, 2024. The FOM may be relied upon for cutting permit application for a period of 3 years, ending October 20th, 2027.
