Pursuant to Sections 94 and 227 of the Community Charter, notice is hereby given that Council of the City of Port Alberni intends to adopt “Permissive Tax Exemption Bylaw No. 5115, 2024 by October 31, 2024.
The Bylaw proposes to exempt from taxation lands and improvements for a Three-year term from 2025 – 2027. The property being considered and the estimated municipal property taxes that would be imposed if they were not exempt is listed below.
