It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Ada Nichele, at the age of 95.
Predeceased by her husband, Giovanni, and brothers Aldo and Albino. Ada leaves to mourn her sister Maria (Rosario), her children: Roberto (Paulette), Grace (John), Linda (James), 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Also numerous nieces and nephews in Italy.
Ada left her family in Cittadella, Italy, to marry her love and raise a family in Port Alberni. She always had a way of making everyone feel loved and cared for. Mom loved gardening, cooking and family gatherings. She had a generous spirit and an open door to family and friends. Mom lived a full and beautiful life.
Our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Echo Village for their compassion and care, where mom spent her last 7 years.
A celebration of life and graveside service were held by family.
Forever in our hearts.
