Ada Zanetti passed away unexpectedly in Port Alberni, BC on Tuesday, September 11, 2019 at the age of 89 years. Predeceased by her husband Vittorio in 2011, Ada is survived by children Carmen (Nick), Enzo (Tracey) and Nori (Dan); grandchildren Melissa (Travis) Cross, Christina Klemencic (Andrew), Danny Klemencic, Tyler Mercer, Jennika Mercer and Valina Zanetti; great-grandchildren Nickolas, Nolan and Daniela Cross; twin sister Bruna and sister in law Mafalda in Italy; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family as well as many friends in Italy, New York, New Jersey and Canada.
Born in Italy Ada came to Canada in November of 1956. Ada's joys in her life were her beloved family, her home and gardening. Ada was also a
member of the Italian Canadian Society. Ada's kind soul and affection for other will be missed but not forgotten.
Prayers will be held at 7:00 pm, Thursday, September 19, 2019 from the Chapel of Memories Funeral Directors, 4005 - 6th Ave with a Funeral Mass at 10:30 am, Friday, September 20 at Holy Family/Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church, 4731 Burke Road. Burial to take place in Alberni Valley Memorial Gardens.
