After a courageous battle with cancer, and secure in the love of her family, Audie slipped away from this life in Nanaimo at age 83.
She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Ken; brothers, Herman and Henry; and sister, Annie.
Missing her greatly are her son, Lyle (Linda) Stolz; daughter, Judy (Robin) Volk; grandkids Sarah, Brian, and Christopher Stolz and Makayla and Brennan Volk; great grandchildren, Aaron, Molly and Emily. She will be fondly remembered by her sister, Josephine and many other relatives and friends.
Her children invite you to join them in a time of fellowship and remembrance at 1:30 pm on Saturday, February 17th at the Thalassa Restaurant, Qualicum Memorial Golf Course Club House, 469 Memorial Avenue in Qualicum Beach.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the BC Cancer Agency or NRGH Palliative Care Unit in Audie's name would be appreciated.
Many thanks to Dr Richard Henderson, the paramedics and all the health care professionals she received care from in Parksville, Nanaimo and Victoria.
Audie will always be remembered by friends and family for her strength, sense of humour and always looking at life in a positive way.
Rest well, Mom.
