On June 19th, 2020, Agnes Foxcroft (nee Forsberg), passed away quietly at Malaspina Gardens in Nanaimo, BC. She celebrated her 100th birthday last November in a gathering with friends and family.
She was born in Alberni in 1919 to Helmer and Jenny Forsberg. After graduating as a registered nurse from St. Joseph's Hospital in 1942, she nursed in Vernon, then in Port Alberni, particularly enjoying maternity and emergency. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and large family dinners.
She was predeceased by her husband Richard (Dick), her son Ken, and her siblings George, Lily, Eylmer and Burt. She is survived by her children Elaine, Bill, Lorne and Neill, 14 grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed, but her love and generosity will live on in our memories.
