June 8, 1940 - September 11, 2021
In Loving Memory ~ It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alexander Gordon Lacharity. Predeceased by 6 brothers & 3 sisters. He leaves his wife of 58 years Ellen, daughter Laurel Seabrook (Jason), son Lyle (Susan), 6 grand children & 1 great- granddaughter, 2 sisters, many nieces and nephews.
Alex worked hard and played hard. He was a faller for 30 years and took pride in his work. He enjoyed the physical demands of the job and many friends he made over the years. Alex loved fishing, hunting, downhill skiing (fast), and woodworking.
He made the most of his time here and had a passion for everything he did. Most recently he enjoyed his time fishing at Bell's Bay down the canal and was grateful he was able to make it out there for another year. His kids, grandkids, and great granddaughter adored him and loved his jokes and kidding - they learned how to give it right back. Alex had a great sense of humour and was always willing to lend a hand or help others.
He will be missed by his many friends and family where there will remain a gap in all our lives.
No service by request & a gathering of family will take place. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Heart & Stroke foundation.
