She was born in Port Alberni at the West Coast General Hospital.
Amy lived in Sarita River and Franklin River logging camps, Victoria, and spent most of her life in Port Alberni. She had many jobs, but her favorite was being a residential home care worker.
Predeceased by parents John and Vera McIntosh.
Survived by spouse Donald Drinkwater, daughter Carmelita Nordwick (Michael), grandchildren Vienna and Erik, sister Anne Turner (Gordon), nephews Michael and Kyle Turner, niece Courtney Turner, and grandnephew Jacob Lauder (Tammy).
No funeral at Amy’s request.
