It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Athalie on Aug 06 2016. Athalie was born on May 29 1937. Athalie was predeceased by her parents,Thelma and Larry Campbell, sister Anne Skjelbred, and granddaughter Tiana Spencer. Survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Alex Spencer. Children-Larry{Donna}, Ralph{Maria}, Jenny{Don Mills}, John, Tom {Jennifer}. Grandchildren-C J {Carleen}, Randi, Andrew{Kim}, Alyssa, Kodie, Kevin, Chase, Alex. Great Grandchildren-Jayden, Sage, Hunter, Sophia. Brother-John Campbell {Cathy}, Sisters-Carol Young, Susan Stech, Lorraine Patrick, Brother in Law-Olaf Skjelbred, and numerous other relatives. Athalie was well known in Port Alberni for her teaching skills, volunteer work, charitable giving and her love of children. Celebration of Life to take place from 1:00 pm on Friday August 19th at the Alberni Athletic hall 3727 Roger St, Port Alberni B.C.
