OSBORNE, Beatrice Marion
September 4, 1929 - January 18, 2014
Marion passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014 in Ty Watson House. Predeceased by husband of 54 years Art Osborne and daughters Carol Luchs, Barbara Cardinal and Valerie Osborne. Survived by son Tom (Teri) and daughters Arlis Scott (Dennis) and Shelley Bourdeleau; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sister Joy Fowler.
Born in Campbell River, Marion moved to the Alberni Valley when she was five. Gardens thrived at each of her homes and good food abounded in her kitchen. The birds in her yard were well fed and her cats well loved. Her bookshelves were tightly packed - she was sure to be reading if she wasn’t baking, sewing, knitting or painting. A bible student from a young age, Marion loved to share the good news she learned with others. A truly nice lady, she will be remembered with deep affection for her cheerful good nature, humour and kindness.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 5055 Maebelle Road.
A tea at the Kingdom Hall will follow.
