Linda was born on October 24, 1960 in Port Alberni, the daughter of John and Anna van den Broek. She passed away September 28, 2021 surrounded by loving family.
Predeceased by her husband Ches. Survived by her children Gary (Juliana), Darcy (Alysha) and their family Felix and Shawn, and Chelsea (Evan) and their family Hudson and Eloise; brother Gordon (Michelle) and their family Rachel and Ryan, brother Robert (Sandra) and daughter Courtney, and brother-in-law Brent (Shelley) and their family Melissa, Amanda, and Ryan.
Born and raised in Port Alberni, Linda worked for many years as a dental assistant. Linda and Ches raised their family in the home they built on Sproat Lake. Linda loved traveling with Ches, they went to Mexico, Cuba, Vegas, and many other places together.
She also loved the vacation she shared with her brother Rob, discovering her family and roots in the Netherlands.
Her loving and happy spirit will be greatly missed.
