Cecil “Barney” Roberts, late of 4218 Hollywood St, Port Alberni, B.C., passed away at Fir Park Village on February 4, 2017, at the age of 92.

Predeceased by his parents, Charles and Louise Roberts; his wife June; daughter and son-in-law, Penny and Bob Milligan; brothers Jack, Les, and Gene; and beloved sister June.

Survived by his loving family: son Terry and wife Lynne; son Alan; daughter Cindy and husband Glen Ferguson; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren who put so much into Grampa’s life, Bobby, Clint and Jolene, Mike and Jenny, Shane, Tyler and Travis.

Cece was a veteran of the Second World War, serving in England as a navigator on the Lancaster bombers. Following his service, Cece worked as a logger and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

A special thanks to those at Fir Park that helped Dad the past year and a half.
