It's with a sad heart, that we have to announce the passing of our dad, David West. He passed peacefully, in Courtenay on January 7, 2021.
Dave spent the last 3 years living in the Comox Valley, bombing around on his red scooter which he greatly enjoyed!
He loved anything to do with the BC Lions and was proud to have coached with the Sea Lions football organization. He always seemed to have a terrible joke on hand to lighten the mood, and really enjoyed greeting people upon arrival to the Walmart store.
Dave and Dot lived In Port Alberni for 45 years and loved that community, their Beaver Creek friends, and were active members of the Port Alberni Rock and Gem club.
Dave will be greatly missed by his children; Darrin (Karen and the dogs), Liana and her children (Nate, Zack, Noah and Elly), and Paulene Rice. He will also be missed by many Port Alberni friends and extended family in Ontario and Texas.
