Diana passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the age of 68.
Predeceased by her father, Diana is survived by husband Jack; children Christine, David, Lee-ann and John; grandchildren Shawna, Cindy, Joe, Jenny, Kathy and Chantelle; siblings Linda and Roy.
Diana was born on the prairies and moved to the valley at a young age when her father came to Port Alberni seeking work. She grew up in Port Alberni and worked at various jobs – a cook at Fir Park Village, house cleaning as well as at the fish plant in Ucluelet. Diana gardened and loved animals. There was nothing Diana loved more though than watching her angel Christine play ball.
According to Diana’s wishes, no formal service will take place. A private family gathering will be held in future.
