February 2, 1944 - September 4, 2021
It is with profound sadness the family of Don Redlack announces his sudden passing on September 4, 2021.
Don was born in February 2, 1944 in Dauphin, Manitoba to Ann & Gordon Redlack. His parents moved Don and sister, Audrey, to the Alberni Valley in 1945 where the family grew to include brother, Gord.
Don is survived by his wife Cathy of 54 years, sister Audrey (Ray) of Port Alberni and brother Gord (Kathy) of Oliver, BC. Also survived by his daughter, Shella (Cal), son, Kris and granddaughter, Dayna, all of Port Alberni. He is also survived by many, much loved family members and friends.
Don tried his hand at various vocations but always gravitated back to woodworking.
He was a builder, gardener, baker and man of many talents and his unique brand of sarcasm will be missed.
The family takes solace in Don's eternal rest with his Lord and Savior.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Chapel of Memories on October 8th 2021 at 1 pm with Rev Kevin Platz. The family appreciates the support and prayers of their church family at Grace Lutheran.
