It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Matthews on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at the age of 64.
Survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Tanya Meek; sister Marguerite (Bob) Hunt; Tanya's family - father Geoffrey (Judy), mother Cicely (Bill Spriggs), brother Tony (Alex), sisters Su (Don) Cameron and Sarah (Calvin) Lee ; and his nieces and nephews.
Don spent most of his working life on the ocean, retiring from Seaspan Marine in 2012 after 36 years.
Following Don's wishes, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
