Born in Prince Rupert August 20, 1942, Dorothy passed away peacefully at her home in Port Alberni March 7, 2017 at the age of 74 years.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years – Jim, children Deanna (Don) Swerdfeger (Port Alberni), Kelly (Al) Davie (Nanaimo), David (Kelly) Jarvis (Victoria), Marilyn (Cameron) Greider (Port Alberni), ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Dorothy’s great joy of life was from family, friends and telling stories through her art.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 26 at 1:00 PM – Port Alberni Rugby Club – 3420 Argyle Street, Port Alberni.
