It is with great sadness that we announce Doug’s sudden passing.
Predeceased by his father Edward, Doug is survived by his mother Kathleen; sister Linda (Al), wife Donna; children Lindsay (Zach), Tanya (Justin); Bryce (Amy); 7 grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and, close life-long friends.
He will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Kin Hut, 4102 Hollywood Street, Port Alberni, BC from 1 - 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, please bring a copy of your favourite memory or picture of Doug for the family to cherish forever, and wear you best plaid shirt.
