It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Earla Eileen Barrowcliff.
Earla is predeceased by her parents, Percy and Audrey Bowman.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years - Barry Barrowcliff, her Children - Ken Terryberry (Jennifer), John Terryberry (Sheila), Rob Terryberry (K.C.), Liza Young (Darren), her Grandchildren-Jessica, Steven, Tyrell, Kayden, Stryker, Maya and her brother John Bowman (Gaylene) of Brownsville Ontario.
Earla spent her childhood years in Drumbo, Ontario before moving to Port Alberni in 1973. After years of working in the service industry, what she found most rewarding was helping others and became a health care aide. Earla took care of clients in their homes and touched the lives of many people of her 27-year career, before retiring in 2014. Since then, she became Head Elf on Santa Claus' Countdown to Christmas.
A celebration of life is to be announced at a later date.
