Emily (Vale) Berry passed peacefully Feb. 08th in Port Alberni with family at her bed side. Emily was predeceased by her husband Robert, her mother & father Gladys & Maurice Vale her sister Anne & brother Terry. Survived by Sister Eunice (Dwight) Corsaut & Brother Art (Teresa), Children: Step son Terry sons Ron (Lynn), Brian & David, Daughter Darlene (Andy) Taylor, grand children Ricky, Donny, Tyler, Robert, Amber, & Ian, Plus 11 Great Grand children & many Niece’s and Nephew’s.
Emily was born April 04 1937 in a small Saskatchewan Town of Canwood. Her, her Sister and her parents move to the Valley in 1941 and settled on a Beaver Creek Rd. She met her husband in 1954 and began raising her family. As a stay at home mom she like to play the piano, take long walks and go camping and/or visiting she like her hugs. Emily’s favorite saying was “You’re a funny boy”,
The Family would like to thank the nurses and care givers at Echo Village for their wonderful service they provided Emily for the last 3 years.
The service will be at the family plot as soon as the weather lets up. In lieu of flower please make a Donation to MS Society’s Research fund.
Service will be in May at the family Grave site Date will be confirmed in April, Will have lunch following at Legion.
