1924-2020 ~ Helene 'Haeschen' Albrecht passed away peacefully in Rainbow Gardens on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at the age of 96.
Predeceased by husband Herbert 'Alterchen' and brother Josef.
Survived by extended family in Croatia and Austria; and many good friends across Canada.
Helene moved to Port Alberni in the 50's with her husband and the two set up their home here. She was a woman of deep faith who worked hard keeping a good home and was welcoming and generous to all who knew her. She enjoyed working for over 25 years at the West Coast General Hospital.
A heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Rainbow Gardens for their love and care of Helene during her stay.
Due to COVID a private service will be held.
