Pombert, Jean passed away in Port Alberni on Saturday, Dec 21, 2019 at the age of 89 years.
Predeceased by brothers Billy and Bud.
Survived by children Doug, Dennis (Penny) and Janet (Pudge); grandchildren Ryan, Ashlee and extended family.
Born and raised in the Valley, Jean was a loving mom and Nana, who was caring, kind, liked to celebrate occasions and accepted all her children's friends as family. Her house was open and inviting (especially if you wanted to play cards or dice games) and she always had room at her table for friends and family. In her later years as a resident of Fir Park, she was involved in activities as well as being on some of the committees at Fir Park Village.
According to Jean's wishes, no formal service will be taking place. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean's memory may be made to the Staff Fund or Residents' Council at Fir Park Village, 4411 Wallace St., Port Alberni, BC., V9Y 5Y7.
