Joan Daradics

In Loving Memory ~
With broken hearts we announce the passing of Joan Daradics. Joan was born and raised in Port Alberni, where she met the love of her life Tony. They soon married and began their wonderful and adventurous life together.
Joan loved her family and friends, and loved to spend time with them all. Joan's greatest joy and passion in life was raising her three children with her loving husband Tony.
Family summer camping trips were always a favourite, the family trip to Disneyland is a memory that will never be forgotten. Joan loved and enjoyed the many road trips she and Tony made with family and friends to Reno and other destinations. Joan loved to play the slot machines and luck was always on her side.
When Joan was in her teen years, Port Alberni held a celebration for the Queen and Joan was crowned "May Queen". Joan enjoyed bowling and eventually joined a bowling team. She loved her peaceful daily walks around the dyke.
Joan was a loving, caring wife, mother, nana, great nana, and human being who loved to give and share with others. She will be forever missed and always in our hearts.
Joan is survived by, and will be greatly missed by, her husband of 65 years Tony, 3 children Chris (Marinka), Tammie (Rik), Tony Jr. (Kim), 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 brothers Allan and Dennis (Barb), and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rest in peace dearest Mom, Nana and Great Nana. We love you always.

Service Monday October 17th 11:00 am at Chapel of Memories Funeral Home.
