1923 - 2016
John Melvin Rawlick, born September 4, 1923, in Eden Manitoba passed away peacefully at Ty Watson House in Port Alberni on July 24, 2016. He was predeceased by his wife Beatrice (Patty) Rawlick (nee Doyle) and his daughter Colleen Paterson. Left to mourn his loss are his son Kerry Rawlick, daughter Sharon Johnston with son-in-laws Tom Paterson and Dick Johnston and sister Eve Rawlick as well as six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. John was a World War Two Veteran who worked his entire career at Alberni Plywood. In his retirement he enjoyed family, golfing and gardening. A loving caring man who will be greatly missed by family and friends. His wish for no service will be honored with his ashes interred beside his wife at Greenwood Cemetery.
