Born April 29, 1949. Passed away peacefully in Duncan Hospital Nov. 5, 2018. Born in Fredricton NB, the daughter of late Mae Grace (McCrae) Mackay and the late John Albert Mackay.
Karen is survived by her husband Russ Heinrich, son Tom McLaughlin, several cousins in the Maritimes; Claudia, Tricia and Margie in NB and Barbie in NS and a few Mackay cousins Bonnie (Clark), Donna, Jacquiline and Brenda. Also cousins Roy Mackay and his family (of Uncle Roy Mackay) in England. In addition to her parents Karen was predeceased by her nephew Richard (Ricky), John Franklin Mackay.
Karen was an avid reader, enjoyed her TV soapies. She was a Legion member for 45 years and was a long time and active member with the Sons of Norway. Proud to be involved in all of their fundraising activities. Karen kept herself busy selling Partylite candles and was always a vibrant, smiling and supporting friend to many. Karen loved life.
