November 11, 1951 - May 2, 2025
In loving memory ~
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Larry Wiebe on May 2, 2025, at the age of 73. Larry was a loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Martha; daughter Lorelei, her husband Matt and grandkids Lucy, Jack, and Bennett; and his son Kris and his late wife Monika.
Larry was born in Chilliwack on November 11, 1951. At a young age Larry fell in love with trucks, learning to drive at 13 years old. He went on to run his family's successful trucking company Vedder Transport.
Larry was a cowboy at heart. He loved working the land, and riding horses with his family and friends. He loved to golf and go on vacations with his family. It didn't matter where it was as long as he could be with them.
Larry enjoyed connecting with and meeting new people and helping those in need. He was humble, generous, and compassionate. Seeing his family and loved ones thrive was always at the forefront of his mind and a duty he took very seriously.
Larry loved Jesus and it was evident in the way he lived his life. He shared Christ's love through his actions and through his time. It was never a burden but a joy to love and help others in so many different ways. Through family, friends, and business Larry leaves a legacy that will last for generations.
A Memorial will be held at 1:00 pm on May 14th, 2025, at North Langley Community Church, 21015 96th Ave, Langley BC.
