In Loving Memory ~
Larry died at home with family at his side.
Predeceased by son Brian (1988), mother Eileen Bone, and father Ron Bone and biological father Roy Bremner.
Survived by wife Shirley of 55 years, daughter Debbie & (Jason) Dyck. Fondly remembered by family, sister Cheryl Ann Bone, cousins Gail, Jackie, Pauline. Eleanor, Leslie and husbands.
Worked for BC Forest Products Port Renfrew for a number of years before joining BC Forest Service as a log scaler for 32 years
moving to Port Alberni in 1971 for a two year transfer and where he remained. He loved the outdoor activities, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, climbing x-county skiing and especially bicycling. He enjoyed meeting travellers from different countries helping where needed becoming life long friends with many.
As our children were growing up he was involved in the boy scout organization. Became commanding officer of the Sea Cadets for two years with the Core ranking, 1st in BC, 5th in Canada. He was proud of his cadets and liked to hear of their adult accomplishments.
He will be remembered for his scenes of humour and practical jokes.
