Marguerite Gaudreau

In loving memory ~
Gaudreau, Marguerite passed away in Port Alberni on Saturday, June 11, 2022.
Predeceased by parents Donat and Madonna and sister Jeanne. Survived by her loving husband Ben of 70 years; inlaws Jean and Rose (Vic); as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Born in Saskatchewan, Marguerite arrived in Port Alberni when she was 18, coming out to help family and ended up by staying. Having worked at the Alberni Plywoods for 40 years, Marguerite retired when the mill closed. She worked in many areas and most of this time were on graveyard shift.
Marguerite and Ben enjoyed travelling to various places, including spending the winters in Yuma. They also loved camping with friends for 45+ years at Big Qualicum First Nations.
She was generous and was always the first one to step in and help wherever needed. Marguerite had many interests - gardening, crafts, sewing, and was multi-talented.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Holy Family Notre Dame Church, 4731 Burke Road with Father Michael officiating.
