Mark Brett passed peacefully at the West Coast General Hospital, on Friday, February 7th, 2020, at 69 years young.
Mark was predeceased by his parents, and survived by his loving wife Jeannette; children Joanne and Monique; 6 grandchildren; siblings, Gary (Donna), Patricia (Derek), Dwight (Barb), Linda (Jim), Keith (Dianne), and Jane (Berry); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Mark worked in the forest industry for 40 years at Alberni Plywood and APD and was a strong union member. Mark loved camping and spending time with his family, he was often the instigator for family activities and never once missed a birthday. Mark had a big heart and would go out of his way to help anyone at any time.
The family gives special thanks to; Dr. Grant; Dr. Williams; the nurses at Home and Community Care; Meals on Wheels; Mark's niece Marnie; and the staff at the West Coast General Hospital.
There will be no service as per Mark's wishes.
