Mike Hatch

It is with tremendous sadness and love that we announce the passing of Mike Hatch on August 16th, 2018 at the age of 54.

Mike passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, while listening to some of his favourite music being played on the guitar. He will be honoured and remembered fondly with every classic rock song that we hear, every piece of firewood that we stack and every quiet moment spent in the forest.

He was a devoted husband and partner to Debbie Putsey. He will always be loved and admired by his daughters Amber (Kyle), Brittany (Kyle), and Cheena (Todd). He was a loving Grandpa to Brianna, Dakota, Keilah, Everly, Gabriel and Abigail. A loving son to Carol and remembered by his brothers Roy and Richard and sisters Debbee and Jeannie.

Mike always had a great sense of humour and despite the circumstances he had his family laughing right up until the very end.

He will be remembered as a courageous man with a strong work ethic. He was a talented, self taught musician of multiple instruments. He worked hard for 20+ years in the forestry industry before switching to health care, bringing along his sense of humour and compassion for 10+ years as a HCA.
