January 26, 1936 - August 12, 2021
It's with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mildred Croisdale in the early morning of August 12, 2021, at home surrounded by her family and fur-babies (Sunny, Maggie, Katie, and Percy). Too anyone that knew Mildred knew her as Bug. This was a nickname that she was given as a child and stuck with her throughout her lifetime.
Bug was predeceased by her parents Clifford and Ida Chase, sister Florence Salmon and brother-in-law Stan. Bug is survived by her loving husband Alec, daughters Lee, Dana, grandchildren Alexis (Rod), Michael (Jennifer) great grandchildren Hudson, Kennedy and chosen grandson Jonah, her brother Dale Chase (Bette) as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
We are saddened by the loss of Bug a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. We all knew that we were loved unconditionally, and she was always there for each and everyone of us as we called upon her.
We know Bug is in a better place now, is no longer suffering however it still leaves a huge void and we will miss her dearly.
On behalf of Bug's family, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Dr R Lund, Drs A & M Marsay, Cindy, Dana and Kim for the exceptional care and compassion that they provided these past years as her health started to decline. Also, a special thank you to all the home support staff that looked after her these past 2 years.
A very special thanks to Alexis for providing her gramma with such amazing care, the countless hours that she spent with her daily allowed her to fulfill her wish to stay at home where she was with family and her beloved pets until the end.
As per Bug's request there will be no service.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the SPCA or the West Coast General Hospital in memory of Bug.
