August 22, 1946 - February 18, 2020
With great sadness we announce Milt's passing on Tuesday, February 18, 2020. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Darlene; sons, Tony (Cathy) and Gary (Nicole) of Port Alberni; grandchildren, Madi (Gary) and Jenna (Tony) of Port Alberni; brother, Paul (Fil) Wiltse of Powell River, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Milton was predeceased by his son, Ricky; mother, Lucy; stepfather, George Isaac; brothers, Peter Wiltse, Roy Isaac; and sister, Alice Baptiste (Isaac).
Born in Montreal, Milt's family moved to the Valley when he was only three months old. He always told people he was born here. His whole life was here, and this is where his heart was. Milt was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He loved camping at the Similkameen River, riding his offroad motorcycles and quad.
The family would like to thank those at WCGH, Echo Village and the Cowichan Lodge in Duncan for the wonderful care they gave our loving husband, dad, and grandpa.
Milt has requested no formal services be held. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour his memory may do so by making a donation in his name to Alzheimer' Society of BC, Cancer Research, The Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Diabetes Research.
The family will hold a Celebration of Milt's life at a later date.
