Monique Anne Begg (nee Laporte)

October 23, 1943 - July 11, 2022
In Loving Memory ~
On July 11, 2022, Monique passed away peacefully after a hard-fought battle with Alzheimer's in the presence of her daughter, Eugenie, and in the loving embrace of her husband of 54 years, Arnie.
Also survived by her sons, Robert (Krista) and James (Pam) and 6 grandchildren: Alexis, Olivia, Ryan, Annie, Gabe and Josh.
Her siblings in Quebec: Suzanne (Denis) Leclerc, Celine (Jean-Pierre) Leclerc, Serge (Linda Gagnon) Laporte, and Marcelle (Rejean) Savard gave her a large number of beloved children to whom she was known as a great Aunt and Grandaunt.
A celebration of life with light refreshments will be held Saturday, August 6, 1:00 pm at Yates Memorial 4470 Gertrude Street, Port Alberni.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 13, 11:00 am at All Saints Anglican Church 4755 Arthur Dr, Ladner, BC with reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, support for the Alzheimer Society of BC is welcomed.
