Orin "Rodney" Rogers

April 18, 1929 - June 2, 2022
In loving memory ~
Predeceased by his loving wife, Lillian in October 2019, and son-in-law Wayne in April 2019.
Survived by his daughter Faye (David), son Harvey (Marg) and daughter Lois, five grandchildren Kyle (Stacey), Elissa (Michael), Nathan (Jaime), Carlee (Keith) and Amy (Chris), as well as thirteen great grandchildren. Along with chosen daughter Janice.
He arrived in Port Alberni in 1951 from New Brunswick. He drove professionally most of his working career ending as a bus driver for School District #70 for 26 years. After Rodney retired, he gave back to his community by becoming a school trustee for three terms.
A faithful attendee of Elim Tabernacle for 71 years. Rodney taught Adult Sunday School and was on the board for numerous terms.
Rodney went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Thursday June 2, 2022 at the age of 93 years. Memorial donations may be made in Rodney's name to Nanoose Bay Camp. 2531 Nanoose Beach Rd, Nanoose Bay, BC V9P 9E5
