April 26, 1945 - July 5, 2018
Born in Victoria on April 26, 1945, Pam passed away peacefully at the age of 73 on Thursday July 5, 2018 at Cowichan Lodge in Duncan, BC. She was predeceased by her husband Ken (2002) and son Greg (2004). Pam is survived by her sons, Ron (Tracey) and Jamie, grandchildren Kendra, Jesse and Cade, siblings Ken (Lorilee), Diane, Ellis (Galina), Doug (Mary Anne), Cheryl, David (Jan), John, Rolly (Arlene), as well as numerous nieces and nephews and her extended Neuwirth family.
Pam lived most of her life in Port Alberni, attending Eighth Avenue Elementary and ADSS, before marrying Ken and starting her family. Ken and Pam lived in Cherry Creek for many years where they enjoyed raising their family. Pam worked at AV Times before volunteering for West Coast Hospital Auxiliary. She was generous, bright and remained determined until the end.
She will be missed.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, July 20, 2018 at the Chapel of Memories, 4005 - 6th Ave. Inurnment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the caregivers and companions at Westhaven, Port Alberni and Cowichan Lodge, Duncan, for their kindness and care during Pam's stay.
