In loving memory ~

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Patrick Fladager who passed away peacefully on January 14, 2025, at the age of 77 after a courageous battle with prostate cancer.

Predeceased by his parents, Merle and Teresa Fladager, and his brothers, Lionel and Ted.

Survived by his wife Cindy, daughter Jenna (John) sons David, Derek (Michelle), Brock (Kayla), siblings Gerald, Marlene, Betty, Barbara. Grandchildren Ashlee, JP, Makynlee, Logan, Owen, nieces and nephews.

Our family would like to thank Dr. Woodley, Dr. Johnson, palliative nurses, and Ty Watson house staff/volunteers for all their guidance, support, and compassion they had provided to Pat and our family.

Pat found his greatest solace in the great outdoors. He had a deep love for fishing, spending countless hours by the canal, where the rhythm of the water and the promise of a catch brought him peace and happiness. Those who joined him always left with fond memories and stories of his unmatched humor and warmth.

Hockey was another of Pat's great passions. He played for APD in 1971 then later for the Old Puckers, cheering for his favorite teams, or bonding with friends and family over the sport, hockey was a constant source of excitement and joy in his life. His enthusiasm for the game was infectious and brought people together in ways only he could.

Pat was best known for his incredible ability to make others laugh. Even as he faced cancer with bravery, he remained steadfast in his mission to bring light to those around him. His quick wit and love for a good joke became a hallmark of his character, reminding everyone of the power of humor in even the toughest times.

Though cancer may have claimed his body, it could never touch his indomitable spirit. Rest in peace, Pat. The canals will echo your laughter, the sound of puck drops and hockey sticks hitting the ice will forever carry your passion.

You will be deeply missed

and forever remembered.

In honor of Pat's memory, his family invites friends to celebrate his life by sharing their favorite fishing tales, hockey memories, or a joke that would have brought a smile to his face. Date to follow.
