Pete passed away to Heaven at West Coast General Hospital at 2:30am Oct.7, 2016. he was born in an air raid shelter in Sussex, England. His family moved to Canada when Pete was 7. They settled at Quennel Lake. He married his wife Maureen, 51 years ago in Nanaimo where their sons Greg and Shawn were born. In 1972 the family moved to Port Alberni, where Pete worked as a mill-wright for MacMillan Bloedel A.P.D. Division until he retired in 1998. he also worked at McLean’s Mill for 2 years after it started running. Pete loved his family, Jesus, his home which he rebuilt, music, the outdoors, camping, fishing, playing his guitar, all of which he did to perfection. He leaves behind his wife Maureen, sons Greg (Glenda), Shawn, granddaughter Angela. Brothers, Gordon (Anne) Rob (Lyn) and his precious lil’ dog Button. We will have a celebration of his life in the spring.
