It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Peter "papa pete" Cayer.
Predeceased by his parents Evelyn & Lionel Cayer, brothers Keith, Dave, and Bob. Survived by his daughters Jolene (Jessie), and Chelsey (Ty), brothers Steve (Belle), and Ken, grandchildren Carter and Zoey. Peter was born in Victoria and raised in Port Alberni.
He spent a lifetime of truck driving - including 30-years with Rayner and Bracht, where he retired at the age of 60. When he wasn't driving truck, he was working on his property, spending time with his family, enjoying a habs game with a lucky in hand, and reminiscing on the good times. Peter had a heart of gold and will be missed tremendously.
