It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Ray Kenis Bredo on May 4, 2014 at West Coast General Hospital with his family by his side.
Ray was predeceased by his parents, his brother Stan, his sister Agnes and is survived by his loving wife Gweneth, son Sean, stepsons Terry (Diane), Jimmy, Walter (Sharon) and stepdaughter Carol Ann, and several grandchildren.
Ray was a Steam Engineer; he retired after 27 years of service at the local Pulp and Paper Mill. He enjoyed his retirement, played some golf, fished a little and loved his computer.
Cremation has taken place. There will be a private family gathering. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ray’s name to the Poppy fund, Royal Canadian Legion Br. 293, Port Alberni, BC.
