June 22, 1942 - September 12, 2021
With great sadness, this notice is to let you all know of the passing of Bob Herbison, at age 79. After a short time living with mesothelioma cancer, he passed quietly as he wanted, in his home in Errington.
He was born and raised in Vancouver, went to UBC and SFU and travelled to Europe and North Africa after graduation. He was a teacher and Resource Centre Coordinator for SD70 all of his working career. He was an enthusiastic and encouraging hiker, skier, community supporter and photographer. As the Errington Community's historian, photographer and volunteer for over 40 years, he will be greatly missed by all.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Jacquelyn (Jacie) Herbison. He was a great Dad and Papa to daughter Jennifer Sara (Andrew Gray), grandchildren Ross and Lauren, son Noah Robert; step-daughter Julie Shannon (Todd Fowler), grandchildren Haley, Trevor, step-son Patrick Douglas Meyer and our grand Samantha Rose, and many cousins. He is pre-deceased by his parents, Alexandra (Sandy) Maude (nee Ladner) and Robert Herbison.
Family will be remembering him privately.
A community remembrance will be arranged in Spring 2022 when we are again able to gather in numbers.

Your condolences will be approved within one business day. You will need a valid Facebook account. Please email us if you have any questions.
