Rosemary passed away in Port Alberni, B.C on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the young age of 58.

Survived by loving husband Jim; children Katrina, Chris (Taryn) and Nick (Ashley); parents Anton and Maria; brother Tony; extended family Kelli, Caitlin, Dylan, Jack, Daniel and Olivia: as well as many other loving family and friends.

Rosemary was born and raised in Port Alberni. She spent her working career in the insurance industry and her last 2 years of work at Ty Watson House.  When not working, Rosemary had a passion for many things.  She was a committed dragon boat paddler and loved to travel with her team to competitions.  She loved to grow and nurture her flower gardens, she was “an absolute goddess in the kitchen” and loved to spend her summers at Sproat Lake and at the family cabin in the Barkley Sound. Fishing was also a long time passion and people knew not to touch her rod when a fish was on.  Her winters were spent enjoying the sunshine with her husband in Palm Springs.  Rosemary’s love for her family was endless.  Her support and involvement never went unnoticed.

A Celebration of Rosemary’s Life will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the Alberni Valley Golf Course, 6449 Cherry Creek Road. Stories and condolences may be offered to the family at www.chapelofmemories.ca
