Russ passed on October 17 in Port Alberni. He was born in Victoria and lived in Courtney, Lone Butte,and Port Alberni.
His second wife of nearly 25 years, Dona, predeceased him in 2013. He is remembered by his children Carol (of Victoria), Michael (of Nova Scotia) and their families.
There will be no service but donations of remembrance can be made to Special Olympics, an organization where Russ was a long time coach.
